Request for Proposals from Institutions of Higher Education

The Doing What Works Initiative (DWW) is seeking proposals for Implementation Awards to be used for the integration of DWW resources into professional learning or school improvement support processes. The goal of the awards is to develop a deeper understanding of how educators can be better supported to integrate evidence-based educational resources, such as those offered by DWW, into their everyday work.
BASIC INFORMATION
Purpose: Strengthen implementation of research-based practices through incorporation of DWW resources into professional development and school improvement.
Eligible: Institutions of Higher Education

Award Size: $15,000 to $55,000
# of Awards: Approximately 8
Support: DWW staff will be assigned to consult on project design and development. Staff will provide access to DWW resources, including alternate formats, but no tailored development of new media is possible. Past Implementation Awardees will also be available to provide advice.
Reporting: Awardees will document their projects, collect information about outcomes, submit a final report, and share materials developed.
Community: Awardees will be expected to interact in a virtual network.
